Who applied for the final CT sports betting mobile skin?
There is great interest in the last remaining operating license CT Sports betting that Connecticut lottery announced Monday.

Lottery officials do not disclose which companies have applied for the skin: “Due to the confidentiality of the RFQ process and the need for the Connecticut General Assembly to submit full legislation, the CLC is not currently releasing any further information. ”
The lottery takes a holistic view of the bidding for CT sports betting
Unlike the New Hampshire bidding process for sports betting and the upcoming one, which will determine who will operate mobile sports betting in New York, Connecticut does not have an application rating system.
Instead, the lottery will take a holistic view of all bids, Simmelkjaer told LSR.
Even so, he named four key factors to consider:
- Product that is both the app that a sports betting company offers and the pricing.
- Customer acquisition and retention.
- Experience with sports betting in retail. Simmelkjaer stressed the importance of retail and hopes to have a sports betting inside one 30 minutes drive from everyone in Connecticut.
- Responsible gaming practices.

For now, only the big details about sports betting in Connecticut are known. Regulations still need to be drawn up.
Income from sports betting is also taxed 13.75% for the two tribal partners the Mashantucket Pequot and Mohegan Indians. The Mashantucket Pequot has entered into a partnership DraftKings Sports Betting while the Mohegan collaborated with warehouse.
The lottery partner must offer its own revenue sharing rate. Simmelkjaer believes this will be a competitive price considering New Hampshire 51% of mobile betting from DraftKings. At least New York wants too 50% the revenue from its applicants.
